Our community social initiatives are based on the principle of “back to the basics”. We are committed to establishing sustainable community development initiatives “firstly” in the communities that we operate in. Engaging communities in social uplifting projects that have direct impact in the people we engage in on a day to day basis. Some of our successful initiatives involves the following beneficiaries:
Get Down Productions
Our Mass focused CSI partner, Get Down Productions NPO has through our financial assistance and that of its other partners including the National Department of Health, National Lotteries Commission, Limpopo Provincial Department of Sport, Arts and Culture etc. managed to reach more than 500 000 people in various communities across South Africa, this through various HIV and AIDS, Road Safety, TB, Non Communicable Diseases Awareness Interventions to mention a few.
Matome Rapetsoa Foundation
Matome Rapetsoa Foundation(MRF), founded and chaired by Mahuma Group(Pty)Ltd’s founder and Group Chief Executive, Mr Matome Rapetsoa is our individual focused CSI partner which has over the 7 years of its existence donated more than 30 wheel chairs to needy South Africans, adopted 3 Schools in the Limpopo Province where identified and needy learners continue to receive school uniforms, school shoes, stationery and other necessities every year. MRF has though the assistance of Mahuma Group(Pty)Ltd managed to put 4 deserving students from disadvantaged backgrounds through post matric institutions, thus ensuring that they and their families sustain positively.
